Teen Anger Management Groups

Any high school student who is interested in
joining a weekly anger management group for
teens can do so by having his or her
parent/guardian contact Dr. Becourtney to
schedule an initial intake. During the initial
interview, Dr. Becourtney will provide details
regarding his anger management program
and determine the appropriateness of placing the
student in one of his groups.

At the present time, Dr. Becourtney runs a
weekly anger management group for 10th,
11th, and 12th grade boys. The group meets
every Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. with
sessions lasting one hour. New members can
join the group at any time provided they have
completed an initial intake and are deemed
appropriate for the group.

Although the current group consists of all boys, if
enough girls express interest in joining, either a
separate girls group will be formed or the current
group will become a mix of boys and girls.

In addition, if enough younger teens (7th, 8th,
and 9th graders) express interest, a weekly
anger management group will be formed to meet
their needs,
